Yesterday, All My Troubles Seemed…

To just not really matter. Went to the MCARC monthly meeting in Shelton and that went okay. Got the guys to think about putting up a booth in next year’s Taste Of Hood Canal.

Took The Long Way Home From Shelton

SWMBO went to the Genealogy Library, as usual. But she took her son with her. While out, he found a storage unit for his crap in the basement (all on his own). That’s nice. So he’ll be moving his crap out to the storage unit this coming week. Neat thing is that he came up with the idea of getting a storage unit on his own.

Then SWMBO and I went out. Stopped by the Vape Shop in Bremerton then the RV place in Silverdale. Saw some nice RV’s but nothing sized for my truck. Some were pretty close though. Did see a used tent trailer that would work perfectly for us. They wanted “only” $6k for it; which really ain’t bad. But we just can’t afford it right now.

Taken By Uncle Clarence 1950's

Then she took me to Red Robin so she could get a mushroom burger. I had the seafood platter thingie. Wasn’t as good as Red Lobster but wasn’t bad.

Then we walked the Mall for awhile. Took a different route home and got to see a lot of the “back country” I haven’t seen in a few years. Pretty. Got home after 2000 hrs. so the evening was pretty much done.

Today I picked the first batch of Peas and Blueberry’s. Watered the garden. Took a couple of walks. Just being lazy on a Sunday.

About Half The Peas I Picked Today

Over the past couple of days I’ve scanned over 500 slides we got in the mail from her folks. They were taken by her photographer Uncle Clarence over the course of his lifetime. Lots of slides of girls in swimsuits and lots of girls showing their legs. Some are really nice. Haven’t started the box with the nudes yet; but a quick look-through shows some really nice looking ladies. All these were taken back in the 60’s or early 70’s from guessing from the hair-do’s.  Nice.

Grilled us some steaks for dinner. Added Corn on the Cob and Baked Taters. (Yeah, I know. Two starches. Who Cares! It’s GOOD!)  And it was good.

My Blueberry Crop For The Year. So Far.

SWMBO and I have an 1800 “date” to watch “Turbo.” Think I’ll skip the MCARC 2-meter Sunday Evening Chat Net so they can practice what to do when things don’t go as planned. (But I may listen in…)
