Another Sunday Coming Through!

SWMBO and I sat in our new chairs and watched Avengers: Infinity War on the 65” with the sound bar blaring and it was pretty nice. Enjoyed the movie but hated the ending. Cause it didn’t end. So, two years or more until the NEXT non-end?

Not a whole heck of a lot going on around here. Been warm (warm!) this past week so the dog and I spent a lot of time outside walking our trails. Nice. Getting kind of boring but still nice. I do like our property. Just wish there was about 20+ more acres of it. That would be nice!

Garden is almost done. I checked and the beets aren’t actually growing beets; just lots of leaves. Really green leaves with red lines in them; but, no beets. Peas are all in and the dead vines pulled out. Mater’s are coming in great though. LOTS of cherry tomato’s. SWMBO needs to take some of these to work and give them away.

Decided to let SWMBO go visit her parents by herself and I’ve gotta cancel the trip to Texas for Thanksgiving. I was under a LOT of stress to get that new Cargo Trailer and get it set up for camping and get on the road by the beginning of November. Got to causing anxiety and I don’t want anxiety in my life. So we changed things around. Wish I could go with SWMBO but it just ain’t gonna work out this year.

Other than that: nada. I will be renting a lift or crane by mid-Sept to get my tower off the ground and up. Need to go to Harbor Freight and get a wench and a long rope. Why climb when I can winch myself up!

Been Back From My LA Trip A Week

Or so. Been so busy ‘catching up” around the house that I haven’t taken the time to update. I know you missed me!

My Step-Mom’s funeral went well; I thought. I wasn’t the only white guy there but I did feel like the gray-headed step-child I was. Oh, everyone was friendly; but a little stand-off-ish. Sorta. Which I understood since most of them had never seen me nor had they heard about me. They even asked me to talk! (Forgot half of what I was gonna say though.)

Took off from Chino and drove the coast to San Diego. Something I hadn’t done in over 20 years. Was nice. Stopped and visited with my brother-in-law in Santee, Ca. It was hot and we sat outside at COSTCO and watched the girls. God.

So, Day 1 was Home to Redding (where the horizon was on fire!). Day 2 Redding to Bakersfield. Day 3 (Saturday) was Bakersfield to Chino and the Funeral. (Got the LAST empty motel room in the area. $100!) Day 4 was Chino to LA to San Diego to Santee to March AFB up by Riverside. (Nice room and the quietest night of them all.) Day 5 was March AFB to Beaver, Utah. Day 6 was Beaver to SLC to Boise to Ontario, (Or?) Day 7 was Ontario to Home. 3100+ Miles! Phew!

All by myself too. Which sucked. Big Time. Trips are Way Much Better with SWMBO along. Especially while staying in strange motel rooms!

Not a whole heck of a lot going on around here since I got back. Tending the garden and picking things that are ripe. Peas are just about finished up. Green beans are done for the year and in the freezer. Maters are just really starting to come in and already we’re having problems getting rid of them. (Next year NO cherry tomato’s unless SWMBO really wants them. But will do slicing maters.)

Hot these past couple of days. Like in excess of 95 degrees. Nice!

Warranty finally expired on my laptop so I loaded it with Linux Mint 19 Xfce and set it up for SWMBO to use. Transferred all her shit from her laptop to the “new” one and it’s in her room ready to be used. I like it; but the truth is that if SHE doesn’t like it, well, the old laptop is still available. And will be for at least the next week “just in case!”

Got my DNA results from Ancestry. I’m about as plain vanilla White Boy as you can get. Which has got to be disappointing for SWMBO. She was hoping something would show up that’d make it easier to track my family. Doesn’t look like it did.

WhooEeeeee Hot today. Nice. Nice nice. Picked a hatful of blackberry’s and was sweating like a, well, pig? (Do pigs sweat?) So I’m taking a break before heading out for some more.

Dorothy Velasquez 1943-2018

Just can’t put it off any more. My Second-Mom died 12 days after SWMBO and I drove down to see her for the first time in 37 years. She had a stroke and ramained unresponsive until they pulled life-support. My Sister, Mina, was with her. I had to go through that with my Mom and I know it ain’t easy.

So, I’ll be leaving here at zero-dark-thirty Thursday morning and drive back down for the funeral in Chico, Calif this Saturday. SWMBO isn’t going along for this one. Will rush (sort of) to get there but may take my time to get back. Not taking the Dog either. I may go on down to San Diego or over to Las Vegas and back. We’ll see.

Not a whole hell of a lot going on around here. Bored out of my skull. Hot out (90 degree’s or so) so me and the Dog have been taking off all our clothes and going for walks. Ttried making some new trails on the property next door without cutting anything. Need to spread out a bit.

Peas are coming in great. Green beans have started to get pickable. ONE cherry tomato has turned orange. Eggplant bushes are getting big but I don’t see any actual eggplant yet. Had to transplant the pepper so it’d get more sun, so it’s kinda droopy, but I expect itll catch up. Thinking next year I’ll try some corn next to that cement wall (where the tomato’s are) and see if it grows any better.

And that’s pretty much it.  The Emergency Net out of Gig Harbor and the Local NMARES Net both went well. I can communicate. SWMBO is home safely and off doing her thing.

I’m gonna go read a bit.

Just Not A Lot Happening Around Here

Nice and HOT the past couple of days. Really really nice (for me). Me and the Dog did what we do yesterday after mail run and have stayed that way, except for mail run today, since. I think we really need to live “down south” someplace. There are “colonies” for people like me; I think mine would be on the Moon. (With any kind of luck!)

Unfortunately, our Cooler has gone offline and won’t do anything except grunt at me every once-in-awhile. No cooling and little fan. Tried calling the HVAC place but they were busy. Took a message and told me they’d call back. They haven’t. So tomorrow I’ll call one of their competitors. Already have their numbers written down.

SWMBO is home and trying to chill. It’s gotten a LOT cooler since the Sun went behind the trees.

And I’m rambling. I hate when I do that.

Wow! Nice And Hot The Past 2 Days!

My kind of weather! So we’ve been making any runs we need to make early so we can spend the rest of the day home enjoying this weather. Oh, Yeah!

Been getting my shit ready for Field Day. Made a trip to Shelton Walmart and bought a $50 battery (plus $12 core charge) and stopped by to invite AD7DY to the Field Day.

When I got home, after walking the Dog, I hooked the new battery up to the solar controller, then hooked up the solar panel, and attached my volt meter “just to watch.” It all appeared to work

The solar panel was feeding 14.1 volts to the battery which was feeding 13.5 volts to the volt meter. That should run a radio for awhile! I let it run until the solar panel had been in the shade for about an hour. It was still feeding 12 volts to the battery. I think this will do well for Saturday.

if I get this to work I’ll be buying more batteries and hooking up another solar panel to run everything (radio wise) in my shack. Maybe run a convertor for awhile if needed. Going to set up in the garage and feed the lines through that hole I already made.

I don’t like playing with big batteries since that one blew up on me a few years ago. It freaks me out. I do the connections; but I don’t like doing it. I was deaf in my left ear for 3 days after that battery blew!

Got my new CAT cable today. Except it wasn’t exactly what I ordered. The cable had the usb end but not the other that plugs into the 857d. Not even close to what I ordered. I went and double checked the order just to be sure. Nope. The picture on the one I ordered had that plug and the usb. So I contacted Amazon to return this one and sent a scathing e-mail to the company that I bought it from.

I don’t really need the CAT cable; it would have jsut made things a bit easier. I can still do psk but will have to manually change frequencies and stuff. May have to manually add contacts too. We’ll see.

Anywho, SWMBO is home and we made a run to the Amazon locker to drop off my return and she checked for sewing machine needles (nada). Made a short contact with the Net on 28.450 and now it’s about my bedtime. Think I’ll go read a bit.

Turned Into A Nice Afternoon

I got to view the total eclipse last August. I’m still awestruck with the moment of totality. There was a big, black, hole in the sky that could have been an entry to another dememsion or a space-gate or some sci-fi thing like that. Cool As Fuck!

Spent part of the day helping one of the guys from the South Club (MCARC) get familiar with how to post to our web site and how to install “stuff” in Linux. Was fun. (I don’t get a lot of visitors. I even forget to offer coffee or soda’s cause I’m just not used to visitors.) Glad if he learned something though. (Even if it was just to NOT try to learn anything from me!)

Then spent a couple of hours painting the doors I started on yesterday. Hooked up this electric paint sprayer thingie and it sorta kinda worked. I feel it made more mess than anything. Would be working just fine but would suddenly spit out a stream of paint. Have a dozen places I’ll need to sand down and touch up. So much for getting things done the easy way.

Sun feels nice when it comes out. Lots of clouds and some drizzle this morning. Sure will be glad when Summer gets here! But it looks like this afternoon is going to heat up a bit. Yay! It did. When me and the Dog drove down to check mail I forgot I wasn’t wearing anything. Made it safely. Thenk goodness.

Oh, had two visits by the Mason County Sheriff’s yesterday. One asked me to pass on his number so my renter doesn’t get “contempt” charges against her for not letting the Ex- get his stuff. Done. She called.

The other was the Sheriff asking me if I’d been contacted by the ex-boyfriend. Turns out he’s been breaking the “No Contact” order about 20+ times a day (by texting my Renter and contacting her on Social) AND he’s not supposed to be contacting me either (since I could have an impact on what my Renter does by threatening to evict her, whatever. Not that I would!) So, the Mason County Prosecutor is going to charge the ex-boyfriend with about 200 No Contact violations. Which will add time to the Assault 2 (federal) charges and possible sentencing. Poor guy just keeps digging himself in deeper and deeper. Idiot.

Door are back in where they belong. They do look a bit better. Not good enough to justify this backache though! I’m getting old.

Oh, part two: got a phone call from the New York office of the Internal Revenue Service. Seems I’m SERIOUSLY behind in my tax payments (to the tune of $93,000.00) and they’d sure like to talk to me. I am to please call during normal business hours to rectify the situation. 1-929-800-4786 if anyone would like to make that call for me.

Clothes? Where We’re Going We Don’t Need No … Clothes.

What a NICE day! About 85 and sunny all day. (Well, not early morning. It was only 50 degrees then. It got warmer though. Anywho…) Dog and I spent as much time outside as we could. He’s NOT a warm Wx Dog! Nope. I went on one of my many walks around the back 40 today, told him he could stay behind if he wanted, and he did! Dork!

Started taking out the Doors leading to the deck to clean and repaint them. Not going to be able to separate the layers of glass and clean the inside like I was hoping I could. Would be too hard to get them back together. Ah well. At least everything else will look good. SWMBO may still decide to get new doors though so I’m waiting until she gets home to make the final decision as to painting them or not. Cause I’m smart that way.

Not a whole Hell of a lot gonig on around here. Just being outside and doing things there while the great Wx lasts. Supposed to be 10 degrees cooler tomorrow. Figures.

My Ex-Renter just called. Again. He pretty much lost me this time. He thought I was a pretty decent person until I evected him for getting arrested for kidnapping/assault. I heard him slam Her against the wall and yell “Fuck You” several times. I heard that. Now he wants his cleaning deposit (after paying half the rent a month for a year when his last girl walked out on him) and bringing this much drama (and the police) into my life. He’ll get it back: minus whatever it costs me to get rid of those heavy assed shelves and whatever junk he leaves here once he’s got “his stuff” out. I quit following him on FB cause I just got tired of the drama and pity party posts. Fuck! I hate being pulled into other people’s drama.

He also wants me to pay for a couple months of electricity. Not happening. He should have gone down and cancelled service way back when instead of letting it build up. Not my fault. Not my job to fix. Not my responsibility to pay it off.

I did get the electric put in my name. Turns out the power was shut off last week sometime. So we’ve been slowly filling the septic since the power for it comes from the MILA. Shit. So I made a run to the electric office and did that. At least we can shit again without worrying the toilet will back up. Just hope I don’t get stiffed for the payment every month.

And that’s pretty much it. NMARES Monday evening Net went well. SWMBO is home and fed and settled in for the evening. Think I’ll go lay down and read a bit.

God, I love Summer!

OMG! I’m A Homeowner!

I can tell cause I spent most of the day working on the front steps (heavy damned manor stone!) or mowing. Well, only got the back yard mowed since I let the mower run out of gas! And none of the 5 5-gal cans had any in them! So that got put on hold until I go pick SWMBO up this evening.

Which I’ve done (since it’s Friday Routine). Got 4 gallons of gas and have put about half of it in the mower and moved it to the back of the house. Not that I’d be really worried about someone stealing it; but why make it too easy?

Busy  week. Wx has been Hot and Cold and points between so we’ve gone from naked to dressed to both at the same time. Rained a bit yesterday. Which was almost nice as it didn’t last more than a couple of minutes.

I sound disjointed tonight for some reason. Could be my blood pressure. 126/66 a bit earlier but my pulse was 102. Hmmm. Not used to this “normal” bp shit.

Anyway, just wanted to get sorta caught up cause I do forget to post sometimes. If more than a couple of days goes by I forget what I’ve done and everything. Just keeping busy outside as much as possible while the good Wx lasts.

Supposed to be 80+ this weekend! We all know what that means, don’t we! Western WaRshingtonians will be dropping like well cooked flies! Wx weenies!

My 857d is all boxed and ready to be sent off. Got busy or I’d have done it today. Monday! For sure! Really.

Tremors–A Cold Day In Hell (2018)

Direct to video. Picked it up at Walmart yesterday. Watched it today. At first I wasn’t impressed. Got better the 2nd time through. I think they made Burt Gummer just an angry Old Man. WAY louder than he needs to be most of the time. Ah well. Still one of my favorite series of movies.

Not a whole lot gonig on. Date Day yesterday was nice. Tried a new meal at that Mexican place in Shelton that I did not (NOT1) like at all. Everything tasted okay (except that corn on the cob covered in what the HELL is that!?) but EVERY cut of beef in the weird taco’s I ordered were mostly gristle. I am not kidding. So about the only things I ate were the rice and beans. Which were good.

SWMBO and I spent too much at Walmart as usual. She got her hair cut and dyed so she looks a lot different. Still looks like my Schweetie but different than she’s been for about/over 10 years now. Still cute as hell!

Did I mention that I got rear ended in the drive through pharmacy line on the 1st? That’s about the only thing that’s happened to me lately.

Hmmm… Boring shit today. Oh, Weather is right on nice today! Me and the Dog got to take off all our clothes and go for walks and it was just perfect out. Sunny!

I made some kind of crock-pot chicken for dinner. We ate it. Wasn’t too bad but not sure if it’s a keeper or not.

Been watching how to convert a cargo trailer to a mini-camper. Think I’m going to do that for when the Dog and I have to get somewhere by ourselves. We just don’t need that 23 ft Caravan for the two of us!

Holy Hell I Can Be A Lazy Turd!

But, that’s the joys of home ownership I guess. Got off my ass and worked on the front steps a bit more today. Moved some more dirt. Need to buy 20 (or so) more Manor Stone(s). Need about 20 80-lb bags of cement too.

Got a bill in the mail from the Good-To-Go folks for $7 complete with threats to “PAY NOW” or else. So, why do I have $60 in my GTG Account when they never automatically use it? You can bet they won’t just refund my money either. Once the “Government” gets hold of your money they don’t let it go very easily. So I get to call customer service, again, and go through all that crap, again. Dipshidiots.

Also got a recall fix-it letter from Chevy. Seems that during low-speed turns I can “experience a temporary loss of electric power steering.” Joy. So I get to call and make an appointment for that. Or just make high-speed turns from now on.

One of the guys from the Club has replaced all his solar panels and is offering me the old panels for $15 each. Says they all still work fine but need some cleaning up and TLC. I’m gonna go look at them tomorrow. If they work, I figure I’ll use 2 to keep my radio battery charged and 2 for the Caravan. Will have to figure out a bracket and maybe a couple more batteries for the back of my truck. We’ll see.

Could also use them to run a heater in the Caravan during the coldest part of the winter. Hmmm…

Not a whole Hell of a lot going on. SWMBO is home and fed. YouTube has shown me several War movies today and is now pushing Battle of the Worlds (1961) but I’m about to go lay down and read a bit.

I Think I’m Going Back To Reading

I miss it. Spend way too much time on “social media,” ie: Facebook or Tumblr (but mostly FB) and not really reading any more. Books. I miss reading a good book.

Nice out side today. Got up to around 80 degrees and the Sun was mostly out. Nice enough this afternoon to lay out an hour or so. Nice. Gonna miss it. Looks like Thursday (next) will be the actual last day of me and the Dog taking off all our clothes and going for a walk around the back 40 for the summer. Bummer.

Helped our Renters pick up some shelves at the local junk store. Faith in Action I think. Yeah. Gawd those things were heavy! (OR I’m just fookin’ Old now!) We got two of them in the back of my truck and managed to get them unloaded at the house without tearing them up too bad. Heavy but I don’t mind helping. Nice to feel somewhat needed sometimes.

Started up the Pi with Ubuntu on it and have been running psk31 all afternoon. Tried calling AB3ML just to see how far my signal got out. Using that multi-band fan dipole I built 7 years ago (that the plastic is falling off the actual wires from exposure) and a measly 15 watts my signal was picked up all the way over in New York. And places between too. Not bad.

Mostly I was doing it to see if using the pi and Ubunto would reset my radio like it did a couple of weeks ago. Once when I transmitted it reset it back to factory settings on everything and wiped the memorys. That really sucked! Can’t get the radio to connect to CHIRP on the Pi or the Laptop either so I had to manually start putting stuff back. Luckily, so far, it hasn’t reset the radio. I’ll keep playing with it though. And the radio.

Had a headache most all of yesterday. When I went to bed I froze my brain, went right to sleep, and didn’t wake up until 0700 this morning. Think I’ll try that again tonight. (Don’t have a headache but who knows!)

Anywho, SWMBO is home. Think I’ll go visit before laying down and READING!

Just Not A Whole Lot Going On Around Here!

I’d say that it is about as SSDD around here as SSDD ever gets. Wx is holding out; mostly. Is a LOT cooler but, so far, hasn’t been too bad. The Tree-of-Winter-Doom is starting to change colors though.

Had to take my truck to Les Swab’s to get the driver’s side rear tire patched. Picked up another screw somwwhere. That’s three. Three times that tire has been literally screwed.

Still haven’t gotten my tower up. Couldn’t tell you why except that I haven’t really felt like delving into that yet.

Dog and I still go for our daily walk. Getting harder though. Used to walk 4 or 5 miles a day. Lucky if I make 1.5 now. Just get tired, achey, and dizzy and can’t make it as far. Think I ought to go get checked out. Heck, I’m only a 65 year old ex-smoker ex-drunk who hasn’t done a lick of exercise since retireing from the Navy. (Fuck Me! That was 26 years ago!) Do like my walks though.

Baked a couple dozen peanut butter cookies today. Made them a bit overdone like SWMBO likes them. They’s good.

SWMBO is home and fed. The MCARC 10-meter Tuesday Evening Chat Net went well. (My antenna actually tuned tonight!)

Think I’m gonna go lay down and read a bit.

Well. Where Am I?

Had to go and see when the last time I posted was. A Week Ago! Damn! What the Hell have I been doing?

Well, Saturday Date with SWMBO. Who knows for the rest. Things around the house. Put the rebar cage together in the tower hole. Ordered Concrete. Ate a butt-ton of ripe black berries.

Wx has been hot and humid. Last couple of days the air has been smokey smelling, the sun has had a reddish cast, and the moon is almost blood colored at night. Fires in Eastern Washington and Oregon trying to burn us off the map. People with breathing difficulties having a hard time with it around here.

Got my concrete placed today at about 1430. Nice! Bubble stayed plumb on the bottom tower section. Nice! Didn’t have to adjust it any at the end of the pour. Nice!

And that’s it. I just haven’t been doing anything but enjoying these last few days of summer, eating a lot of black berries, and going for walks around the back 40 while we can.

One of their Manager’s called me in response to my return e-mail (basically a copy of my last post). To boil it down: Yes, I’ve just been fucked out of $90 for those coupons, and, No, I didn’t get double charged for an oil change. So, I still have 9 oil changes, 9 tire rotations, and (?#) of windshield wiper changes to go. Thanks for your business and have a nice day.

Not a whole hell of a lot been gong on around here. Really nice days so the Dog and I have been outside as much as possible. Making our usual daily mile or two.

I’ve been getting more and more dizzy and tired when we do get out and walk. Legs get really tired. Not short of breath or anything; just dizzy and tired. It’s like my get up and go got up and went. Maybe I shouldn’t have quit smoking.

Sometimes the depression really kicks in for a few minutes during the day. That’s when I really have to get off my ass and go for a walk. I’m about black berried out from all the black berry’s I eat on my walks out back! The sweet berries make me feel good. The sour berries make me want to kill the whole world and shit on it’s grave.

Well, maybe not that bad.

But I sure ain’t looking forward to Winter.

Wacka Wacka Wacka.

Been kinda sorta mostly busy doing the things around the house I been meaning to do. Working on the front steps (man! Tired of shoveling dirt and moving manor stones!) until it gets too warm.

Gardening (things are growing great!). Yesterday I mowed all the lawns. Today I whack-weeded most of them. Also got out the tri-blade whack-weeder and went after some of those black berry bushes trying to take over the back yards. Took out a lot of those! (Not as many as I need to, but, hey, some at least.)

Picked about 5 lbs of blackberries and boiled them down. Strained most of the pulp out and have about a half-gallon of blackberry juice I can do stuff with now. I may pick some more.

MAY have a space in a RV park in Scio, Oregon to watch the eclipse from. Gotta call tomorrow to make sure of it. If not, for some reason, I’ll probably just get up at zero-dark-thirty that morning and drive to John Day and watch it from the side of the road. Bout tempted to do that anyway. Would be easier.

Been mostly hot around here Wx wise. Had some rain last Saturday night-Sunday morning. We needed it but I sure wouldn’t want to get in the habit of having it around a lot. (Dreading this winter. Really dreading it.)

Speaking of which; the salmon-counting station has been set up down by the river so summer is just about over. Now I check the tree-of-winter-doom for color changes every day. Once that process starts summer will really be over.

Well Double Damn Damn

Loaded a bunch of scrap wood into my truck yesterday; filled the bed completely. Then today took it over to my friends house for him to use instead of tires or oil or whatever will burn, only to find that he died FOUR FREAKIN’ MONTHS AGO! Well, Fuck. Philip was only 80 but still fairly active.

One of his neighbors saw me “hanging about” and came out and told me. He wasn’t feeling well and went into the hospital on a Monday and died Wednesday. FOUR FREAKIN’ MONTHS AGO! He left everything he owned to a neighbor’s 17 year old kid so all that’s taken care of.

And, although we weren’t the closest “hang around each other every week or so” friends, I’ll still kind of miss him and him always asking when SWMBO and I were going to move back into the neighborhood. Bye, Philip. Have fun.

Not a whole lot else going on. Dog and I unloaded the truck when we got back home. I’ll slowly burn all that when the weather shifts and the burn ban is taken away. Worked on the front steps some more; making changes is a bitch to get done! Too much dirt to shovel.

Making sure my batteries are charged and everything’s ready for Belfair Bites tomorrow. We’lll see how good pictures my new camera takes of those classic cars. Not taking the Dog.

And we got to pick SWMBO up at the QFC tonight. Always a pleasure!

I Realize I Haven’t Posted In Days

But I really have been busy. Finally got my hole dug for my tower. Since I had the dirt just piled I decided to start the next project: replacing the front step wtih stone and a ramp for SWMBO’s friends or Parents (if they move out here).

So, been doing all that and sweating way more than I ever really wanted to since Desert Storm. But, at least we get to do it all naked! Been HOT around here! Blessed HOT. (All Hail The Heat!)

Knowing how most Western WaRshingtonians are real Warm Wx Wuses, this is gonna kill a lot of them. Not enough, but a lot. Makes following generations tougher and more able to handle all that Global Warming if you ask me. Breed ‘em for the heat, I say.

Not a whole lot going on around here. Really nice outside so me and the Dog spent as much time ouside, naked of course, as we could.  I bet we walked the back 40 a dozen times. (Actually getting kind of tired walking it by myself. Almost wish I had a couple of friends to walk around with. I spend way too much time home. Alone.)

Anywho, that’s about it. Watering the lawns to try to keep them as a possible fire-break if the need arises. Talked to one of the guys on the Belfair Net about digging me a hole for the base of my new tower. Still have a lot to figure out for that! Still need to rent a digger and do a lot of work on our paths around the back 40.

Our Date Day last Saturday (yesterdat) went pretty much as usual. We dropped a large meat pizza off to the Missionaries then SWMBO took me to Sister’s Restaurant for their chili burger. Was good; as usual. Made our usual stop at Walmart on the way home.

And all the usual “stuff” today. Watering. Laundry. Gardening. Being outside as much as possible. SWMBO made dinner and I made heavy inroads on it. The MCARC 2-meter Sunday Chat Net went well; only 5 of us checked in.

Posted the High Heat Alert on the Club website. Not much more I can do. May go spend $10 for a wading pool to keep full of water for the Dog to jump into. He likes doing that.
